investigational medicine (a medicine being studied) may help treat people with type & diabetes.

Can I join this study?

Yes, you may be able to join the research study if you:

are aged 18 years or older
have type 2 diabetes
are treating your diabetes for at least 90
days with
- insulin glargine
- insulin glargine with metformin
- insulin glargine with SGLT2 inhibitors, or
- insulin glargine with metformin and
- SGLT2 inhibitors
have HbA1c levels of 7% to 10.5%
have a BMI of 23 or more
may have kidney disease

BMI stands for body mass index. It is a number that compares a person's weight to their height. It can be used to tell if a person may be at risk of some health conditions.
